How do I use True Fit?

To use True Fit, head to the individual product listing that you're after.

Look for the logo near the size selector and click on this to open the tool.

Once the True Fit pop-up appears, complete the required questions.

Good to know: You can add as many items as you like to your True Fit profile! The more information you provide, the more True Fit can understand your individual size.

When you have provided the required information, True Fit will recommend the size that they think will suit you best. 

Once you've completed your True Fit analysis, your sizing recommendation will pop up above the size selector on each product listing as you continue to browse. 

Can I save my True Fit Analysis?

True Fit automatically saves your analysis and recommendations on the browser and device you complete the analysis on. If you'd like to access True Fit across different browsers and devices, you can create a profile to save these details and access them at any time!

Vans is a US brand, so their default sizing is in US. Vans run true to size and are available in unisex sizing. 

Please note: Vans do not offer full women's sizes, only half sizes. However, if choosing from the women's sizing we recommend sizing up (e.g. grab a women's US 9.5 if you're usually a US 9). You can view the Vans size chart here. 

In this video below, the US men's 6 is selected, which is equivalent to a US women's 7.5 and an EU 38. 

Simply click the dropdown link next to 'CHOOSE SIZE' and select the size guide you want to use.

Please note that sizes can vary from brand to brand, and even between different styles within the same brand. You can view the size guides for individual products on the individual product listings. 

Birkenstock caters to differently shaped feet by offering Regular and Narrow widths. The fit will be specified in the product details online. 

Birkenstock is a European brand, so sizing will be displayed in EU when shopping online. 

How to measure 
To find your size and fit in Birkenstock, we recommend measuring your feet and comparing this with the Birkenstock size guides below. 

1. Stand with the back of your heel against a wall and measure the distance from the wall to the tip of your longest toe.
2. To this measurement, add 1cm to allow your foot room to move. This will give you the footbed length you need to find your size. 
3. Measure the width of your foot, across the its broadest part. This will indicate whether you need a narrow or regular width. 
   
   Example: Naomi's foot measures 25cm long and 9.6cm wide. Naomi adds 1cm to her foot's length to create a total footbed length of 26cm. The Adults: Regular Width table below shows that a Euro 40 Regular will be her best fit. However, if Naomi's foot measured only 9.5cm wide, then a Euro 40 Narrow from the Adults: Narrow Width table would be her best fit.

See below for how to read the symbols on the footbed of Birkenstocks. 

• Width indicator
  If the foot symbol is not coloured-in, the shoe has a regular width. If the foot symbol is coloured-in, the shoe has a narrow width.  
  
  
  
• Sizing:
  • The large number shows the European size, eg '41'.
  • The smaller number underneath, eg. '265' shows the metric footbed length, in this case, 265mm.
